I spent part of my childhood and university years in the United States, and have used English in both everyday and professional settings. This background allows me to communicate naturally with international guests and adjust explanations depending on their interests and level of familiarity with Japan.

Before becoming a full-time guide, I worked for a medical device company, handling a range of responsibilities including sales, maintenance support, logistics, and communication with overseas partners. The role required practical coordination across different teams and frequent use of English in business settings.

I have conducted around 50 guided tours to date, primarily for international visitors. Most have been private tours lasting between four and eight hours, covering more than 20 destinations across Kyoto and surrounding areas.

My tours focus on more than the basic facts of each site. I try to connect history, religion, regional culture, and everyday life so that each place can be understood in a broader context. Routes and explanations are adjusted depending on the interests of each guest.
